So I made a really good decision this week, which I heartily encourage you to make as well.
I was on the Story People website and I bought something. And when I was checking out, they asked if I wanted to be daily emailed the story of the week. And I said yes!
And I am so glad I did. Now I get a new story EACH DAY.
Here's today's story, for example.
A couple years ago I started doodling stick figures in Paint with Brian Andreas*- like captions as a coping mechanism for the tensions of life. I was just thinking of them again today. This was my first one, I think...back when I worked at the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Training Center and wore skirts to work.
I think this next one was my second...back when my roommate & I use to discuss fitness & calorie intake over dinner at restaurants in Portland...
And I think this one's my favorite so far...it pretty much explains my whole life...
I've been toying with the idea of making a line of greeting cards out of them... :)
*Brian Andreas is a genius. Sometimes I look at his stuff solely to feel better about humanity, because I know that when I do, I will.
